“I asked Nic Beese to create portraits of our dogs as a birthday gift for my husband. I wanted something that not only captured their appearance but also their individual characters – and Nic delivered that perfectly. We’re absolutely delighted with the final pieces, and they will take pride of place in our home.

Working with Nic was a real pleasure from start to finish. He took time to explain what kind of reference images he needed and gave me helpful advice on how to improve the photos I sent. He kept me updated throughout, sharing progress images that made the process feel really special.

At one point, I wasn’t completely happy with how one of the dogs was coming across – but Nic listened carefully, took my feedback on board without any defensiveness, and made thoughtful adjustments. The result are portraits that truly reflect each dog’s character.

Nick also recommended a fantastic framer and helped me choose the perfect mounts and glass type to protect them and really show off the artwork to its best advantage. While he may not be the cheapest option, if you want someone to capture the very essence of your fur babies, he is simply the best. “
